PRODUCTION
While Creatorix develops its own CD-ROM titles, CD-ROMs and DVDs can also be created on a co-production basis with other writers/creative teams providing concept and content. For any specific project, Creatorix can put together a team of people with many years experience in CD-ROM production. Each member of the team is multi-skilled. Production is a result of team work in the truest sense. We have the skills to capture and process all major forms of digital media - music, voice, movies, images.

Our CD-ROMs will play on either a PC or a Mac. DVDs will play on either DVD players and/or computers with that capacity.

DEVELOPMENT
The technology which Creatorix uses in CD-ROM/DVD development allows the content creator control over the development process without any knowledge of coding or of authoring software. This process allows the author to give documents and media pieces meaningful names and to create a text-based outline and visual map of how the media pieces connect and interact. The code is generated according to these. If careful consideration is given at the early stages to the overall concept and structure (a process with which Creatorix can assist), a working (clickable) engine can be created even before all the media is finalised. This allows for the production to be compiled as media is created and processed. The system also allows for easy modification or replacement of any media item without coding alteration.

a holistic approach which explores subjects from a variety of viewpoints - practical, scientific, historical, ethical and a futures perspective;
a layered approach which allows the user to explore any chosen topic at different depths according to levels of interest or ability;
ultimate flexibility which allows users to follow different pathways, construct their own meaning and draw their own conclusions, but within a carefully structured framework;
well researched and properly sourced material which explores issues and examines questions but with back up facts and figures to allow users to develop their own opinion;
stimulation of the senses as well as of the mind by making fullest use of a variety of media within the constraints of available technology.
